olly is an idea sparked from my time volunteering as a mentor at Royal Family Kids camp, a week-long summer camp for children in the foster care system that gives them the opportunity to, well, just be a kid. my weeks at camp have been filled with sweet memories, but the very first night, I realized that even training, there was no way to fully prepare to see, hear, and comfort all the fear and feelings our campers experienced both before and during sleep. olly exists to help bedtime actually be restful for these kiddos, using sound, light, and stories to create routine and ease the transitions and sleep problems often experienced by children in foster care.
